Vicki’s nursing experience spans more than 25 years with military and civilian experience in post anesthesia care units (PACU), critical care and the operating room.
Vicki is a Commander in the Navy and during her time on active duty she worked in the PACU and ambulatory surgery unit at the Bethesda Naval Hospital and was assigned to recruiting duty in Denver, Colo. She is currently a member of the Navy Reserve.

Vicki also served as senior vice president for HealthCare Recruiters of the Rockies, an executive search firm for the healthcare industry, and the Denver Health and Hospital Authority where she was responsible for recruitment and retention for the Rocky Mountain regional level I trauma center.

At AORN Works, Vicki provides interim and permanent placement of management personnel in the perioperative department, as well as perioperative consulting.

Vicki holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Arizona and a master’s in nursing from the University of Colorado. In addition to AORN, Vicki is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN), Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
