DESCRIPTION & DETAILS: AORN Works is seeking interim candidates for leadership positions in various locations. Director, Educator and Manager roles to be filled. Seeking strong leadership experience - union experience is helpful but not required. A BSN is required (Master's preferred). CNOR. Must have a strong knowledge of AORN Standards, the ability to handle personnel/HR issues with staff, strong physician relationships, sterile techniques, and the ability to mentor if needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSN Required, Master's preferred, CNOR

• Ability to obtain licensing in other states, compact and/or non compact states

• Professional liability insurance required prior to start of contracts

• 3 month contracts with potential for extensions and/or permanent positions

Educator

Interim OR Educator (New England)

DESCRIPTION & DETAILS: AORN Works is seeking an interim OR Educator for a facility in New England. Position will start ASAP. Must be familiar with the AORN Periop 101 program and the ability to implement and teach the course. Educator will be responsible for the overall education and professional development of the Perioperative nursing staff.

• Large Teaching facility with over 40 OR Suites, approx 26,000 cases/year. Educator reports directly to the OR Director.

• 3 month contract with potential to extend.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSN Required, Master's preferred

• 3 years of current Perioperative Educator experience

NOTES:
