Our expert perioperative physician and nurse consultants can quickly and accurately assess your perioperative department and provide actionable data and recommendations for change. We understand that some perioperative problems can be sensitive subjects within a facility's walls and we will assist you in dealing with these issues as well as help validate your findings.

PROCESS

Our process begins with a conference call to define the goals and objectives of the visit. A written proposal including the goals, objectives, consulting process and deliverables, is forwarded to the client for review.

Once the proposal is approved, the consultant visit is scheduled. The length of consultation and number of consultants varies depending on the scope of the project

Onsite, the consultation begins with a kick off meeting with key stakeholders. The consultants gather data through observation, interviews and review of reports, policies, procedures and other information as necessary.

A closing conference is held at the end of the consulting engagement to report on findings and recommendations. A written follow-up report is sent with this information as well as an action plan that enables the facility to implement the recommendations.

AORN Works also can provide interim leadership to assist with the implementation of the action plan.
